Island Weed Control was founded by John H. Wade in 1974. Previously, there were no weed control companies in Cape May County. Property owners had to pull their weeds by hand, only to have them return in about two weeks! With this new service, people could vacation at the shore without having to worry about throwing out their backs and taking away from their much needed relaxation time.
Over 35 years later, Island Weed Control is still the largest weed control company in Cape May County. Our methods and chemicals used are second to none, and our customer satisfaction is higher than any of the others. Our goal is to treat your property once (we try to be there before Memorial Day Weekend) so you never have to see a weed all season.
Unfortunately, sometimes the weeds can be pesky and they may come back. However, we offer a season-long guarantee and we will come back to your property as many times required to be sure you don’t have any new growth.
